your employer has to update your I-9 form with the EAD documentation, you need AP for travel only, you will not be deported if you change to EAD.

Hi,
I recently went through same situation for my spouse on H4. You have 3 options:
1. Call the CBP office where you got I-94 or local CBP office (You can find in Internet, mostly in International Airports) and request them to update thhe I -94. Which may or may not be possible technically. But you may try calling them and schedule an appointment and try this option.
2. Go out of country and come back.
3. File a I539 form to extend non immigrant status. Your employer should help you file it or you may file yourself. It should go to same USCIS service center or office which approved your H1 or H4.
Disclaimer: I am not a attorney. This comment is based on my experience. Please consult and attorney for any legal advise.
For H1b you cannot file I 539 but need to file I 129 which will cost lot more. I guess going out of country and coming back is good option. if you live near border area.

Largest proportion of Tennesseans wants illegals to leave the country (43%). Another 22% says, "such individuals should be allowed to stay in their jobs, but only as temporary guest workers ineligible for U.S. citizenship".
Only 29% says "such individuals should be allowed to stay in their jobs and eventually apply for U.S. citizenship".
An interesting survey showing 51% of voters in one of America's most politically conservative states favor legalizing illegally present immigrants in one form or another:Tennesseans appear ambivalent about how best to deal with illegal immigrants currently working in the United States. The largest proportion (43 percent) says such illegal immigrants should be required to leave their jobs and leave the country. But the next largest proportion (29 percent) takes the opposite view, saying such individuals should be allowed to stay in their jobs and eventually apply for U.S. citizenship. Finally, another 22 percent say such individuals should be allowed to...

While its true, a cousin of my mine applied when PD was not current and got her EAD while her husbands 485 was pending (still pending)
Now, its a different issue that she/he get RFE whenever they apply for EAD renewal and once had to do a MTR.
I can only guess that if the adjudicator checks the date of application before approving the 485, they might be in trouble!

It's news to me. Injection molded connectors are easy to produce while maintaining tight tolerances, so I'm skeptical of that warning.
Many people have had pictures lost even with "good" cards, so that claim sounds more like a scare tactic.
Personally, I think I'll continue to go with SanDisk Extreme, as they have really good warranty (lifetime guarantee). I'm also concerned with knowing I have honest specs so I"m getting the data rates claimed for the product.

http://itavisen.no/art/1304403.html?PHPSESSID=6f659d505057356c057c50b88ed ea679 reports that the Norwegian Nikon distributor Interfoto held a press conference today warning people against using "cheap" memory cards from vendors not on Nikon's approved list.
According to Interfoto the cheap memory cards doesn't fit too well physically and can damage the camera. Their service department report pins that are either broken or even forced into the camera itself.
In addition there has been problems with pictures disappearing when "the card crash".
Interfoto recommends Sandisk and Lexar, as well as Microdrives from IBM/Hitachi. (Interfoto is the Norwegian Lexar distributor btw)
Has anyone else heard something similar?
