I didn't make a threat to murder. I guess that shows how intelligent you are. As a law student I believe in exercising my legal rights to their fullest extent. Anyone here able to get this card working with Lion? I'm running Lion DP2 (with all current updates), and I can't get it working in my 2010 Mac Pro -- nothing I plug in, is being recognized.
Interestingly though, if I go into the 'PCI' section of the system profiler, the card show up properly (even showing that the driver is installed).

Wow just completed my first bigadv for an unbelievable 70,046 points. I can't even run fah all the time either, otherwise it would have been even higher (it causes a rubber banding effect in some games where they battle for cpu cycles).

If some web pages would "break" if you resize a text area, why is it such a problem? If I broke a web page by resizing, I'd simply drag it back to a "good" size again, and be no worse off than before. If it redraws dynamically it'll be quite obvious as you drag.
Having a screen come out wrong is already the case with many websites if I resize my browser window to make it very skinny, yet I don't hear people complaining that browsers allow you to do that.

UGH. Been getting this damn error for the past couple of hours:

I was having the same issue. I finally called AT&T, after 20 minutes of trying to add the feature to my account the rep told me he'd call me back after looking into it some more. About 15 minutes later he called back and said it still wasn't working and that he and others would need to do some extended research into the matter and that he would call me back when they were done. That was several hours ago.
I have the 450 minute plan for $39.99 and the 2 GB Data Pro with 1000 messages at the moment. I also get a FAN discount, but I doubt that would be screwing things up.

Yes, I know nothing about the delay....due to the disgraceful actions of Apple and their total lack of openness.
People keep whining about the lack of openness of Apple, but if I take a look at other companies in the same market (Samsung, Sony, LG etc..) I wonder how much more open they are, when compared to Apple? The only thing they do differently is announce their products in a different way, but I don't see announcements about products delays and their reasons by other manufacturers anywhere on a regular basis. What lack of openness are you referring to, and what do you expect from Apple?
Anyone with a certain business sense would have handled the white iPhone issue in the same way that Apple did. They probably didn't know themselves when it would be ready for large scale production, so what good does it do to give regular updates or keep promising launch dates that cannot be met (I know they did this with the white iPhone, but this just proves that they should just confirm when they are sure)?
All this outrage is because Apple is actually the most reliable manufacturer on the planet with it's synchronized and predictable launch patterns (bar some examples such as the Mac Mini and Air). I keep getting the feeling that it's the same kind of outrage that is present when the always-on-time guy is for once a bit late, whereas most of the others are late everyday and nobody cares.
It's just a gadget, not a cure for cancer...

What a big surprise at&t nickel and diming their own customers. I was already debating about switching to verizon with their better network anyways. I think this just the push I need now I just gotta wait till iPhone 5. As a 6+ year customer I can say "screw you at&t I am out."

This would be the only reason I would buy an iPad. Being almost 49 I don't even want to know how much money I blew playing all the great old school arcade games. If I had the money I'd blow it on getting this, alas with one kid in college and another getting there in four years I won't be spending any money on Apple's iToys anytime soon.

I'd rather pay and get upgrades than have the developer abandon the app because it isn't profitable to do anymore free updates. What should Loren do when everyone that will buy Tweetie already has it? Develop updates out of the goodness of his heart?
The app store has a problem, and that's the amount of crap and cheapness of that crap. It drives the price of everything down. Factor in that ALL upgrades are free and you have a major problem for devs. You can sell an app once to each user, at next to nothing cost, and that's all you get. Yes, initially it's good when you're selling 100K apps a week but what happens when everyone's bought your app? The app store has a sustainability problem, and it will soon rear it's ugly head.
Compare it to desktop software where even the most basic apps cost $10+ and all upgrades are paid.
I'm quite happy to pay Loren �1.79 every 8-12 months for his work on Tweetie because frankly it's amazing and �1.79 is pretty much nothing.
The problem with most whambulance drivers such as yourself is pretty much the same problem with society at large. You only care about yourself and what you can get for yourself regardless if it's at the expense of others. You have no social responsibility. People's inability to look past their own nose and care about others is really quite pathetic. You don't care if Loren gets paid for his work, or for a sustainable app store. If the AT&T + T-Mobile acquisition/merger goes through, the FCC and FTC should just close up shop and take whatever money they use to run those government bodies and return them to the tax payers. I mean, seriously, what's the point?
