I've been reading a number of comments from a variety of sources since the iPhone runs OSX it is a pocket-size Mac. Applications, Widgets etc will all be written for this device which will all be OSX compatible.
Laptops and desktops, iLife etc. will all be announced in good time. However the iPhone is a revolutionary device. So much so that RIMM and Palm both fell today on the stock market. The iPhone, like the original iPod, have established a new standard.

iPod Touch should not count.
The IRS would be very unhappy with me and my accountant if my business didn't report the portion of my iOS app sales that went to iPod Touch users (a significant portion, according to some analytics I ran last year). I don't sell anywhere near as many apps to Android users. Too bad.

I know this is late, but I just bought season 2 of chuck and pleasantly surprised to find it in HD, and the file size seems to be the same as the SD format of season 1.

Yes, because the hardware manufactured decided to use "GB" for Gibibyte instead of gigabyte. But since all memory (hardrives, ram) are in base 2, 2^30 = 1GB is correct.

I mean, asking for the skirts to be to their knees, for them to not see midriff, or parts of the breast is totally equivalent to making the wear burkhas. And then there is the audacity to ask for them to not be exposed to butt crack on the beach, simply appalling their curtailing of freedom!Why should it be of any importance to you how anyone else cares to dress?

I wonder what kind of upload bandwidth you need to broadcast full quality HD as I can imagine Skype/Facetime compress your video and lose a lot of quality, thus negating the need for an HD camera at all.
