First we are seeing pro solutions, then we'll see TB adapters for USB3 pop up... then as TB fitted computers reach a large enough number (this fall?), we'll see manufacturers adding support to ext enclosures and drives.

Once again, the iMac packs more processing power than the Mac Pro. (Even if you have a single hex-core.)
Right, which is why I really need to wait for the Pro, just to see if it's price is reasonable, and if it really makes it a worthy and expandable option over the iMac.
I would've chosen the iMac over the Mac Pro in the last iteration of either machine. This new iMac is making the "expandable" option a little more moot.
I will learn how to solder and service an iMac if it saves me $1000+

This photo made me thirsty for some Sprite. That is a cool tree right there. Liking the colors on it alot. Could care less about the fountain. : )
The fountain made you think of clear water. Clear water + lime = Sprite.
Interesting choice of focal point and depth of field. It makes me wonder what what it might look like with everything in focus.
I took half a dozen pics of the same scene, it never occurred to me to actually take one with a smaller aperture.:D
And speaking of badly focused shots. This one I thought I took f/8, but EXIF says f/7.1 making the foreground daisies OOF. Still kept it because I'm a secret admirer of bright super-contrasty sharp everything colorful landscape pics.

Having gotten used to a 24" panel, it's hard to step down to a 21.5. Obviously, it's nice to step up to the 27", if one has the extra disposable income. The 16GB RAM is a nice reality option, especially if the default were 8GB.

iPhone 4 is at least one year ahead of the competition, and several years ahead when comparing HW quality / build quality. Even with dual core processors the Android UI speed compares unfavorably to pre-3GS iPhone. The Android UI itself is garbage compared to IOS 4.
It's perfectly fine to hold off a release of iPhone 4 for a few months. The competition is not catching up, not even close. The ONLY problem with delay is that there is some perception that iPhone 4 is an "old phone" even though it's the best on the market. If you find some guy who's been in a coma for the past year and ask him to choose between iPhone 4 and the latest and greatest Android spin there's no doubt which he'd choose. But ask someone who had a pulse and they know iPhone 4 was released almost a year ago. Even though it is clearly the best phone on the market, the perception is that it's old.

So you're assuming that Apple are merging both stores into 1 and that developers have had time to implement universal binaries that run on 2 different frameworks and submitted the result to the app store ?

We had one of these as a courtesy car from BMW, while our 3 series was being serviced this summer. I booked a 1 series but they didn't have any, so we were given this Countryman or whatever this long Mini is called. It is crap, crap, crap. It's an annoying car and for what it is, it's overpriced. The retro shape with the stupid door arrangement makes it even more awkward to live with. It has a cheap feel and hideous dials with average interior. I would rather drive a battered, rusty old E30 coupe with a fraction of its value than a Mini Countryman. That would just send the wrong message that I don't mind spending money on a car but that's the best - a joke theme car - that I could come up with.
I don't pimp my own drive or any old crap and I'm not willing to pay BMW to do the same for me.

The iPhone 4 had the most negative marketing out of all the iPhones.
From the 'prototype' leak, to antenna issues. I think Apple is milking as much money as they can with the iPhone 4, while keeping the iPhone 5 top secret.
I'm predicting that the sales of the white one will be like the Verizon iPhone, nothing spectacular.
